Client was seeking entire branding for his ever growing e-commerce business in vintage records. Bored of so many buyers names and logos, he wanted something that had a fresh vintage appeal but with some humor and personality. He created his business name “Uncaged Records” inspired by thousands of records stacked in crates—music waiting to be uncaged and heard once more. Appreciating my vintage inspired illustrations of past projects, he asked me to handle his entire branding identity. Once we established the identity, we carried that through to various print and digital formats. I pencil sketched each illustration for the various genres he wanted to feature as well as the web banners. I then refined, colored and finished digitally, using the branding color palette and style for a cohesive look. I then proceeded to finish with an animated video and full web design.
