i am an introverted graphic designer & illustrator who is most content when i’m making things.

I love thoughtful design, storytelling, beautiful details and work that has a little heart behind it and solves problems. I’ve always moved pretty naturally between design and illustration. On the design side, I especially love print, branding, logo design and layout. As an illustrator, I’m drawn to nature, nostalgia, characters, and a bit of the unexpected. My work can be bright and playful or darker and more atmospheric, depending on where the project takes me.

Over the years, I’ve worked on all kinds of things: branding and logos, posters and publications, stationery, patterns and surface design, photography prop styling, textbook illustration, character and environment design, and plenty of projects that don’t fit neatly into a category. I’m a detail person by nature. I’m organized, self-motivated, very deadline-conscious and comfortable taking a project from the first spark of an idea through all the tiny decisions that make it feel finished and part of a story.

I work in Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac, and my design and illustration work has been fortunate enough to receive several awards and recognitions along the way. I’ve had the pleasure of creating work for clients and companies including Neo-Pangea, Whole Wide World Toys, Simplicity Creative Group, and Wilton Brands. Mostly I just really enjoy making good things with good people and I’m always happy to see where the next creative project leads.
